Rita is a highly motivated and seasoned architect with over 15 years of experience in diverse design and management roles. She possesses a wealth of expertise in managing the complete spectrum of design requirements, with a strong emphasis on sectors such as hospitality, retail, and high-end residences.

Within the realm of academia, Rita adeptly bridges the gap between the academic and interior design industry. She brings a wealth of industry expertise and leadership to her academic roles at the University of Sharjah. Her multifaceted dedication to education is further evident in her contributions to publications and her involvement in organizing exhibitions with a focus on sustainability and industry-wide concerns. Rita actively mentors students in international competitions and fosters connections between students and the media industry. Her dedication to advancing academic knowledge is demonstrated through her pursuit of a Ph.D. in interior architecture.

In addition to her professional & educational endeavours, Rita is actively participating in design initiatives and competitions on a personal level. As an artist and a passionate “Sustainabilist” at heart, she champions a clear environmental agenda. Rita believes in the power of simplicity and storytelling in every design, emphasizing a thoughtful and narrative-driven approach that resonates.
